Who is Maria Gutierrez?
Born and raised in Chicago, Maria grew up the only girl among seven brothers in a family with roots in Mexico. Today she is a wife, a mother of four, and a realtor with more than six years of experience and 200+ sales. We meet to discuss your goals, needs and budget, then review your mortgage preapproval or guide you through obtaining one.
02Home Search
Once you're preapproved, we search for homes that match your priorities and schedule showings.
03Offer & Negotiation
When you find the right home, we prepare your offer and negotiate the price and terms with your best interests in mind.
04Escrow & Earnest Money
Once your offer is accepted, we explain the escrow process and guide you through submitting your earnest money deposit according to the contract.
05Attorney Review
We coordinate with your attorney as they review the contract, explain its terms and address any concerns.
06Home Inspections
We help coordinate inspections, review the findings with you, and negotiate repairs or credits when appropriate.
07Financing
We stay in communication with you and your lender as your loan moves through appraisal, underwriting and final approval.
08Preclosing & Closing
We coordinate the final walkthrough and closing preparations. On closing day you sign the documents, complete the purchase and receive the keys to your new home.

I can’t thank Maria enough. She was a champ and advocate the whole way. We accepted an offer within a couple days of listing and it was higher than we could have hoped for. The was side by side every step, the listing was perfect, and she gave us updates all the time. We had an issue during the inspection and she found us a plumber and got him there the same day for an issue in the basement so the inspection could be finished. We closed super fast and whenever there was a question or issue she was there. A year before we listed the house, we bumped into each other and got to talking.
